Our Mission & Gratitude

To the incredible communities of Carlton, Yamhill and Mac

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Your compassion during our dad’s brave battle with cancer—and the love you showed him and our family during and after his fight—has left an imprint on us that words can barely hold. Your ice cream, your thoughts and prayers, your check-ins, your presence... each gesture gave dad and us strength when we needed it most.

Our dad fought a cancer linked to a BRCA gene mutation—an inherited genetic risk that often goes unseen. Through this journey, we came to understand just how vital awareness and early detection can be. It’s a cause we are committed to learning and sharing more about.

In his honor, we’ve created a foundation inspired by his love for his community and the love he had for all sports.

Its first mission: to support YC Athletics programs and young athletes—because he believed in the power of sports to build resilience, discipline, and belonging. In time, our hope is to add more missions among the community he loved so much.  Just as you stood by us, we want to stand by you.

Thank you for being our anchor and mostly, for loving our father the legend Big Larz!
